Through extensive testing, certification and competition, our staff has attained mastery in Karate and now enjoy passing it on to their students. Therefore, each student will learn safe and proper techniques right from the start.
Reverend Ivan Cage
Reverend Cage has been involved in the martial arts for over 2 decades. He has produced several National Karate Champions. Reverend Cage has volunteered for several years teaching and mentoring inner city at risk children and guilding them into successful young adults. Mr. Wingo
Mr. Wingo is a Internationally Certified Instuctor under Master Cooper of the Institute of Martial Arts-Cooper's Gym in Detroit, MI. Mr. Wingo earned his black belt in Traditional Hapkido and Muay Thai. He is a director of the World reknown Cooper's Muay Thai Fight Team. Mr. Wingo has volunteered his skills/services to many inner city youth outreach programs for over 10 years.

We do not and will not offer boxing at the River Rouge Institute of Martial Arts. However, please contact our good friend Micky Goodwin at the River Rouge Boxing Gym for boxing instruction and boxing events.
